An ode to the magical appliance

Oh, mighty cleanser of filth.
How you purge the carnage from my silverware!
You bring sparkles where there was stain.
With one puck, you move mountains of food!

Spray nozzles are your right hand,
Your binding dish holders as your left,
No food-based adversary stands in your way!
Tomato sauce trembles in fear in your box of torture!

The dirty spoons cry out!
Cleanse me from the grease and human saliva!
The knives plead and the forks beg,
Will someone make us new again?

But they have nothing to fear
For you, oh mighty cleanser
Will make them shine once more!
There is no surface-level stain you cannot destroy!

Then, once you have finished your work
There will be much rejoicing!
From both plate and silverware alike!
What a triumphant celebration that will be!

Plates will be clean and placed back in their cupboards!
Knives, forks, spoons, cups!
All utensils will find their rightful homes,
All…
