WO Mic — The Free Solution To Turn Your Smartphone Into Your Computer Mic

Not sure how many of you fall in this same category, but I’ve yet to purchase a proper computer mic (i.e. Blue Yeti, etc.) for making videos and/or live-streaming.

For those like me that also happen to have an Android or iOS device, so basically anyone with no computer mic, I have a solution for you that I stumbled upon the same day of writing this article.

WO Mic:

It’s super easy to set up. You simply need to install the app on your phone then install both the needed software and driver package on your Windows computer. They have a great walkthrough on the site and offer troubleshooting tips that are easy to understand. Any problem you might come across, which I did for a while, can be resolved by changing some settings and/or restarting the app on your smartphone or Windows computer.
